Natural Healings: Essential Skill for the Future?
“Let medicine be your food and medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates
Natural Healings: The herb was God’s original medicine. Did you know that modern medicine only tries to mimic the herb? They make a chemical form of certain properties in any given herb and use it to control symptoms. But, you need the whole herb in its’ natural form for complete healing.
What are natural healings? Methods that encourage the body to utilize its’ God-given blueprint to heal itself. Given the right nutrients, our bodies will heal naturally. That being said, we can’t wait until everything else has been tried and then expect a miracle overnight. Healing naturally is a lifestyle of a good diet, pure water and knowing how to maintain a proper nutrient level. It’s easy to supplement and use therapies for any specific weakness we might have. A few natural healings include:
- Good Diet
- Pure Water
- Medicinal Herbs
- Essential Oils
- Neutral pH Balance
- Chelation Therapy
- Massage Therapy
- Natural Antibiotics
- Listening to Your Body
To prepare for the soon-coming mark of the beast, when we can’t buy or sell, it’s so important for every family to have a natural healer. One who knows how to use natural ways to help their loved ones. Because, it may not be possible to obtain prescription medications or even buy over the counter items. I have studied natural health for many years to be able to help you know more about this awesome way to stay healthy. I encourage you to study now and learn how to use herbs and natural methods for healing both people and pets.
Using Medicinal Plants and Herbs for Natural Healings
There are so many ways to use medicinal plants and herbs. You can use them to prepare capsules, teas, lotions, creams, salves, infusions, suppositories, tinctures and poultices.
You can plant an herb garden and harvest your own plants, or you can buy bulk herbs in a ready-to-use form. Or, you can buy herbal formulas in capsules, creams or salves. I keep the creams and salves refrigerated so they will keep longer, but all herbs should be kept in a cool, dark place. Herbs have different actions upon the body. Take a look at the wide variety of herbal categories:
- Tonic Herbs – promotes general energy and well-being. They include Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Nettle Leaf, Oatstraw and Hawthorne.
- Diuretic Herbs – promotes urination. These include Green Tea, Parsley, Juniper, Uva Ursi, Nettle and Cleavers
- Nervine Herbs – calms supports the nervous system. These include Chamomile, Hops, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Passionflower and California Poppy.
- Aromatic Herbs – supports the digestive, reproductive and respiratory systems. Many are used in aromatherapy. These include Anise, Ginger, Peppermint, Angelica and Anise.
- Bitter Herbs – promotes better digestion. These include Skullcap, Orange Peel, Wormwood, Artichoke and Dandelion.
- Diaphoretic Herbs – Encourages Sweating to increase circulation and get rid of toxins. These include Cayenne, Garlic, Yarrow, Boneset, Elder flowers and Linden.
- Expectorant Herbs – Helps to break up and eliminate mucus in the lungs. These include Licorice Root, Lobelia, Slippery Elm, Horehound, Elecampane and Yerba Santa.
- Emollient Herbs – Used externally to soothe and protect the skin. These include Aloe Vera, Comfrey, Marshmallow, Plantain, Chickweed and Irish Moss.
- Carminative Herbs – Helps to reduce gas. These include Anise, Caraway, Fennel, Ginger, Angelica and Peppermint.
- Astringent Herbs – Tones and shrinks tissue. These include White Oak Bark, Witch Hazel, Yarrow, Agrimony, Green Tea and Rose.
8 Great Herbs for the Immune System
- Olive Leaf
- Chaga Mushrooms
- Maitake Mushrooms
- Black Elderberry
Contraindications – Herbal Interaction with Chemical Prescriptions
Herbals can be very potent, so please be careful and study the herb for any contraindications. There are many herbs you should not take if you are pregnant, but also quite a few that don’t interact well with prescription medications. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
Watch Out for Poisonous Herbs
As wonderful as herbs are, there are some that are poisonous and deadly. If you’re going to study herbs, it’s a good idea to get a good identification book and know the difference.
- Deadly Nightshade – (Belladonna) – The stems, leaves, roots, and berries are all deadly.
- Poison Hemlock and Water Hemlock – Causes nausea, abdominal cramps, and sometimes death.
- Castor Bean – Contains ricin and is deadly even in small amounts
- Oleander – Beautiful flowers – All parts of this flower are deadly
- White Snakeroot – This is so toxic that even milk and meat from animals that have ingested it can be deadly.
- Tobacco – Harmful to smoke – but can be fatal if eaten.
Many common plants are toxic to pets. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with these plants as well.
Natural Oils – Essential for COVID-19
Essential Oils are potent and powerful. They are used in Natural Healings and Aromatherapy. There are so many that they deserve a whole page devoted to their benefits and uses.
Essential Oils for COVID? Yes, absolutely! There are several you could use, but without question, my choice would be Thieves Essential Oil. Thieves is actually a blend of oils, but one of the best I’ve ever used. It contains eucalyptus, clove, rosemary, lemon, and cinnamon It’s anti-microbial, supports the immune system, the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, clears nasal and sinus passages and destroys harmful pathogens.
- Put a few drops in water and use as a hand sanitizer or spray to clean kitchen/bathroom counters, bathrooms, etc.
- A few drops in a cool diffuser will help clear congested airways and phlegm and also kill airborne pathogens.
- Mix a few drops with a carrier oil like coconut, almond, jojoba, or olive and apply topically
JUMPSTART YOUR IMMUNE RESPONSE: Dilute 3-5 drops in one ounce of pure olive oil and massage into the soles of your feet or the spine. This will quickly give your immune system a much-needed boost.
Other good essential oils for colds and flu include Eucalyptus, Thyme, Cinnamon, Mullein, and Tea Tree Oils.
Buying and Using Essential Oils
Always make sure that oils are in glass bottles – not plastic. If it comes in a plastic bottle, I would transfer it to a glass bottle asap. Also read the labels to see if there are any fillers or additives that would dilute the oil.
Oils can be used in a cool diffuser (if there is any heat involved, it will destroy the healing properties of the oil), inhaled from the bottle or a few drops on a cloth or cotton ball. I like to put a few drops on my pillowcase whenever I need some help.
Oils should be not be used on your skin without diluting into a carrier oil. Use 3-5 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
For wound healing, place a few drops of Tea Tree Oil on the bandage or compress and continue to do so whenever the bandage is changed.
Healing Power of Nature
You should always follow the advice of your chosen health care professional, and never stop taking any prescribed medication without his/her direction. The purpose of this chart is educational – only to give you some ideas for natural healing in case you can’t get prescriptions or over-the-counter- medications. Please study these herbs and obtain them in whatever form you like so you have them on hand in case you have the need.
I can’t advise you in any given situation, but I can tell you what I would do for myself. You know that your body gets accustomed to having prescription drugs and isn’t happy if it is deprived of them. If I found myself in a situation where I couldn’t get my prescription medications, I would immediately start cutting back on the pills I have on hand. I would start taking half – then drop down from there another half until all were used up. At that point, the withdrawal shouldn’t be so severe. Then I would pick up with the herbal routine that I had already researched and decided upon.
The following chart shows herbs that have historically been used to treat specific issues:
|Heart||Hawthorne, Magnesium, CoQ10|
|Blood Thinners||Nattokinase, Pure Water|
|Cholesterol||Red Yeast Rice|
|Diabetes||Ginseng, Chromium, Fenugreek, Bilberry|
|Liver||Milk Thistle, Burdock, Tumeric, Oregon Grape|
|Kidney||Juniper, Red Clover, Marshmallow Root|
Most people are not familiar with Nattokinase. It’s an enzyme that has been used for hundreds of years to help thin the blood and dissolve blood clots. It’s a low-cost, effective treatment for any heart or cardiovascular disease. I have personally used it for years and wouldn’t be without it.
Do some research and you will find quite a few natural antibiotics that you can grow for yourself or buy in bulk for storage.
- Garlic – Antibacterial – helps with infectious diseases
- Oregano Oil – Antifungal. One of the best natural antibiotics.
- Honey – Wonderful for wound and burn healing. Manuka honey is best for this purpose.
- Echinacea – For the immune system. Great infection fighter.
- Goldenseal – For the respiratory and digestive systems.
Have You Tried Chelation Therapy?
If you haven’t – you should if you have any blockages in your arteries. A very loose description is that Chelation Therapy was developed by the military to help soldiers get rid of heavy metal poisoning. It works very well for that purpose – but guess what? In the process, it also cleans out your arteries!! There may not be enough money in it for the medical profession – so, unfortunately, it isn’t promoted.
I’ve heard testimonials from many people – one was a lady that had gone to the doctor and told that she needed to go to the hospital immediately for by-pass surgery because her arteries were so blocked. She had heard about chelation therapy and decided to try it before surgery. Several years later, she was running a lawn care business – without ever having the surgery.
Chelation Therapy is best done by IV, and there are clinics that do this. It can also be by mouth or suppositories. The least effective would be the capsules by mouth because the stomach acid can reduce the effectiveness. Suppositories work well, but it will take longer to get results. It will take about 10 nights of taking suppositories to equal one IV session.
How to Heal Wounds Faster – Naturally
What happens when you cut your finger? It bleeds for a few minutes, then starts to heal over, right? This is a very tiny example, but your body know how to heal itself. All we have to do is give it the right nutrients!
Sometimes it requires stitches to hold it together, but the healing is the same.
Many years ago, I attended Dr. Christopher’s School of Natural Healing in Utah. We were in a class and the instructor started talking about an herbal formula called BF&C. (Bone, Flesh & Cartilage…it has a new name today, but the same formula). They told many stories of how great it was. So, I bought a small 2 oz. jar and took it home with me.
The BF&C went on the shelf and I didn’t think much about it. But, a few weeks later, I came home from work and my mom (who lived next door) called to tell me that my dad was hurt. He apparently had been using a circular saw to cut some fence posts and a couple of fingers had gotten in the way. Those fingers were mangled, to say the least. We couldn’t get him to go to the hospital, so it was up to me.
I cleaned them as best I could and decided that this would put the BF&C to the test. I heavily packed each finger with the salve and wrapped each one individually. Then every day, I would remove the bandages and pack more on top of what was already there. This went on for about a week, and I told him that he didn’t need me to do this because he could do it for himself.
Fast-forward a couple of weeks. I was busy and had my mind on a thousand things when Dad walked in. He held up his hand and said, ‘look’. For a minute, it didn’t register. He was just holding up his hand. Then it hit me – the fingers were normal. OMG – the BF&C!!! It was amazing!
Since then, we’ve used it on horses as well as people. A quick horse story. One of the horses got too close to the barbed wire fence and had a fairly deep cut. We called the vet and he came out to the house and stitched up the wound. Well, those stitches were out before the vet got out of the driveway. So, we knew that wasn’t going to work.
I grabbed the BF&C and rubbed it into the wound and packed it as best I could. We kept doing this every chance we had, and it wasn’t long before the wound healed – without much of a scar. BF&C proved itself once again.
I can’t say enough about this product. It comes in salve, capsules, massage oil and cut (for making poultice). There is even a facial cream using this herbal formula.
A Word About Dr. Christopher and Natural Healings
Dr. Christopher created many herbal formulas. Dr. Christopher said that God gave him these formulas for mankind – not to copyright or patent for himself. So, the formulas were open to whoever wanted to use them. In fact, many of the products you see on the health food stores are his formulations…just changed a bit so someone can put their label on them.
BF&C is one of the best I’ve ever used. Another great one is Hawthorne Berry Syrup, which is a specific for the heart. He said this formula was given to him by an old Indian healer, who asked him not to use it as long as he was alive. So, after he passed away, Dr. Christopher put the formula into a syrup that is amazing to keep the heart healthy and strong.

Dr. Christopher was one of the greatest natural healers of all time.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a type of massage that targets certain areas of the feet, hands, and ears. These different areas correspond to specific organs in the body, and applying pressure will stimulate the organ for better activity.
The Miracle of Iridology
The eyes have it! You eyes reveal the state of your health and a trained iridologist can see problems long before you could ever be diagnosed with a disease. I’ve seen this so many times. Take a look at this iridology chart then take a look at the eye and see if you can spot problem areas.
See if you can correlate the discolored areas with the above chart to determine where this person is having problems.
This eye also has problems. See the ‘open weave’ of the iris. This should be tightly woven and those open areas should be evaluated.
Have You Heard About Frequency-Based Medicine?
It’s all about frequencies in the human voice that can identify our state of health and wellness. The sounds (tones) of your voice can be used to build a holographic math-based picture of health. It’s called Human BioAcoustics and it can be used to help your body bring itself into balance.
You can test your own voice right now with a microphone and a computer. The results will take about 24 hours to complete. The link will tell you all about how to do it.
Want Your Own Homeopathic Pharmacy?
What is homeopathic medicine? It’s based on the principle that the body can heal itself, which it can! We can stimulate the healing process by using very small amounts of natural substances.
I would recommend reading a book about homeopathic medicines and how to use them – then buy a kit so you will have the remedies on hand.
